Some of the chemicals we manufacture are classified as Regulated Substances under The Control of Explosives Precursors and Poisons Regulations 2023. These products are marked with an asterisk (*) in our Product Guide or listed as Regulated Substances on our customer portal.
The Control of Explosives Precursors and Poisons Regulations 2023
The Home Office laid out the Control of Explosives Precursors and Poisons Regulations 2023 in January 2023 which made several additions to the Poisons Act to strengthen the framework in place for controlling the use of precursors and poisons.
These new measures came into force on 1st October 2023 and included new requirements for reporting suspicious transactions, additional obligations on online marketplaces, and new requirements for businesses to pass information about restricted chemicals along the supply chain. Therefore, if you are a business and use, or intend to use, any of the Regulated Substances we require a statement to be signed and returned with a form of official ID (Driving Licence or Passport). All information provided, including identification documents, is stored in a highly secure, encrypted system in accordance with data protection regulations, ensuring your personal information remains fully protected and confidential at all times.
Validity: This statement is valid for 18 months from the date of completion. To ensure uninterrupted supply, please note that a new statement will be required once the validity period expires. For more information or assistance with renewals, contact us.
