Our descalant Guide
Metal compatibilities
When using descalants, it is imperative that you have a thorough understanding of the metallurgy of the system. Given that descalants are typically acidic, they are quite aggressive and may not be compatible with certain metals within the system. In addition to this, monitoring the scale removal and the pH levels is just as important to ensure the process is efficient and not compromising the structural integrity of the system. If you are uncertain of what descalant to use, get in touch and our expert team will guide you towards the best treatment for your requirements.
